Taking Care Of A Chihuahua And Why You Would Enjoy One

Just about a year ago I wrote an article which still is gathering viewers. Since I’ve changed my site, I think it’s time to re-publish it here and now since there’s such a tremendous interest in Chihuahuas following the movie which came out recently.
I sincerely hope you enjoy this article, and return soon to read updates about the wonderful little animal called “Chihuahua”. The only way to describe them is to have one…
Here’s my article:
Having had dogs all my life yet I never thought much about them until that day I got my first long haired Chihuahua. And here it was, a small bundle of love. You will never forget that first moment you held him or her. Those big eyes will tell you that you are the person they want to live with.
Chihuahuas are love personified. They are dedicated to their owners and love to be held, played with, and as small as they are, they want to protect their owners. They have such acute hearing and eye-site that they will bark and let you know when someone or something approaches your home.
The first thing you will immediately need to learn is the proper care of your Chihuahua in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. Select their food with care as they do not particularly like to change their food. Also, remember that they have very small teeth and if you are going to have dry food available for them be sure to pick the small puppy sized dry food.
Another must is to learn simple health tips which could potentially save your puppies life in an emergency.It would be beneficial to you to know as much about your puppy’s breed before you bring him or her home.
I know before I brought our Chihuahua home I was concerned about how our other dog would react. What a pleasant surprise! Our miniature mixed breed who is a mixture of poodle and rat terrier took to her new “sister” as her own puppy. It’s been a wonderful relationship for over five years.
Most importantly in my mind is for you to carefully select your new puppy from a licensed breeder, and have him or her checked out by your veterinarian after your and the new love of your life pick each other out. Believe me, Chihuahuas will pick you out just as you pick them out.
What a wonderful feeling when you come home and your new pet knows when you are coming to the door and is there wagging his/her tail and just waiting to see you and be picked up. There is no other breed like the Chihuahua you have in your life. Enjoy their wishes to kiss you and cuddle in your arms or on your lap. That makes life truly enjoyable.

Your Future Is Open To You

Planning your future while considering the stress of today’s world, we must consider our hopes and dreams as well as our health and what the future holds for us. It’s time for us to take charge of our future and circumvent the stresses and concerns which we experience in our lives. We must take charge and enjoy our lives. Surely there’s something which you would really enjoy doing, so now is the time to plan our future and look forward to an enjoyable life.Considering all the stress which you may be facing, isn’t it time you spent some time considering ways to improve your health and to look toward your future with your focus on your goals and not allowing any distractions to alter your plans.
Now it’s about time to consider what your goals really are, and how they will improve your happiness and contentment in your life style.
Just what are you looking forward to? A job which will give you pleasure both in the type of work which you will be doing and an income which will provide you with the funds necessary to bring you a good life style as well as funds to enjoy things such as your hobbies, travel, and even the possibility to begin your very own business.
In order to accomplish all of this we must take a moment to discuss your most important consideration, your health. One of the most important items in your health is focused on what you put into your mouth.
Before we begin on having a better life, let’s consider how we think about our physical selves.
One of the largest problems that many of us suffer with is our weight. I’m not specifically talking about obesity, but about the health of our bodies. After all, in order to be successful in life we have to have a body that functions well.
Ask your physician, and he’ll tell you that weight is balanced by a very simple formula: Calories In, Less Calories Out equals weight. Eating properly is so simple that most of us ignore how much harm many foods can do to our bodies.
Let’s take foods full of fats (fast food restaurant foods, etc.) Those extra fats that you ingest are stored in your fat cells to be used as energy at a later date. No exercise leads to no decrease in the fats in your body. That’s just one item. The worst of course is the collection of the fats in your cardio-vascular system which can lead to blockage of your arteries, the worst of which could be in your heart vessels.
Then consider the ingestion of salt. Can you imagine the amount of salt in many of the foods you digest? Just read the labels on canned vegetables. Next time you shop check the labels and then consider how much better fresh vegetables would be for you.
Consider these things as we move forward toward helping you create a better life for you and your loved ones.
Your future is waiting for you so don’t you think now is the time to consider preparing your body to be successful as you enter your future? As you approach that future of yours, just remember that your health is the most important part of that future. Once you get that under control you’ll be prepared to charge into your future with full steam and the energy to be successful.
You can do it…don’t let any distractions interfere with your goals and actions. The world can be at your fingertips.
